Welllll Helllooooooooo........

So how has everyone been?

Apologizes for not being around as much, I've been crazy busy. Between school and my internship I haven't had much personal time, and have pulled a few more all nighters then I'd care to have hoped. But that's not what anyone wants to know, I'm sure you want to hear updates with the car!

Roxie (my car) is good. She recently passed 90,000 miles, 30k miles from when I got her about 20 months ago. Unfortunately she is on jack stands right now as I had a caliper sticking. I'm in the middle of rebuilding the calipers and it took me forever just to find the dust boots. After all this I'm probably going to be replacing the entire caliper and with the holiday coming up my car may be inoperable for a while.

Well, that's my update for now. I see things are going well here, I've been enjoying the updates via the ME Blog.

Ciao,
OG

Glad to hear you're still around...

Perfect opportunity to upgrade brakes as well...The Bullitt/Mach 1/Cobra brakes are a much needed upgrade and can be found at very affordable prices.

Re: Welllll Helllooooooooo........

I would love to have upgraded those brakes, but I am broke. Broke, broke. I was going to even paint or polish my calipers but I can't even afford the spray can. I do plan on upgrading them though. When I get the money I may start looking at some Brembos or Baer with steel lines and all, for all four wheels, although I don't know about the rears.

Re: Welllll Helllooooooooo........

hey welcome back - that 02 seems to be aging well - I just traded in my 2000 gt for a 2011 5.0 - the exterior was starting to look sad , however mechanicly these cars hold up very well , mine was a very solid car but not as fast as the 2011 .

Re: Welllll Helllooooooooo........

Where the **** have you been!!??

Just playin...glad to see you back man, I haven't been on as much either between school and work too. Glad to hear the stang's still in one piece, sort of. A couple members who were mia for a while came back without their cars

Yah the Mach 1/Cobra brakes are nice. If you want some nicer looking rotors that work with stock calipers, you could look into Rotorpros. I have the Rotorpros rotors with stock calipers and they work great...inexpensive but still good quality, Purevenom and Hottcobra recommmended them to me.
