Noob from Jersey

Hi folks! I joined a few weeks back and have been lurking a bit since then. Figured it was time to introduce myself and my 2010 Silver GT Premium. I picked it up a few days before Christmas. 2550 miles on the clock but it looks and smells brand new. It's got an Automatic Transmission, the Comfort Package, the Security Package and the 19" Premium wheels. So far I'm loving it. I just wish we didn't have so much snow last week. Here are a few pictures:

Exterior:

Interior:

I learned to drive in a '79 Mustang Coupe. I liked that car but it had a ton of quality issues. I gotta say, the 2010 is light-years better. I'm amazed at how well it rides and handles. I haven't completely mashed the throttle yet, (I'll probably wait until after the first oil change) but so far I'm very happy with the acceleration. I'm currently driving a 2002 Escape XLT as my main vehicle.

I'm looking forward to being a member of this forum. It looks like a good group.

The snow was a bad break but that's always a risk when you buy a car in the winter around here I put a car cover on it for the snow but it still got a little dirty because the wind pulled it up some. Not too bad though. I don't think I ever want to have it out in the snow. Don't think I'd get too far with the summer tires on there. Hoboken is a nice place to visit every once in a while. I used to go there often when I was in college. Haven't been in a while though...

Thanks! Never been to Tuckerton. It's about 2 hours south of me. I'm guessing it's a nice place though

Nice looking 2010! I've really come to like the interior in the +2010's...the quality and style is yards ahead of previous years.

Thanks! I need to figure out what I want to do. I’m not mechanical at all and I've got other financial obligations I need to think about first... But, I’ve been thinking about new wheels, window tint and a few more cosmetic things... Down the line I might look at the intake, exhaust and tune. Lots of research (and saving) to do!

I’d love for it to look similar to this :

Thanks! I’ve been looking around for about 2-3 years. When I saw the interior of the 2010’s I was sold. It was just a matter of me saving some money and finding the right deal. It took a little while but it happened.

Thanks again! The snow was crazy. The wind was too. 10 minutes after I brushed the snow off the car cover, the wind blew it off. It was hard to tell just how much we got. The wind blew it all over the place. My neighbors driveway had over 2 feet of snow. My drive had 8" on one side and 18" on the other...
