Re: Head gasket

Just about every gasket from heads up needs to be changed and the head may be cracked or worped. Its not and easy job changing head gaskets on a 4.6L because of the cams and all the electronic stuff.

Yup, that's another reason I like my pushrod 5.0!
If it was me I would change them both out while I had it apart, and yes, you need all the gaskets from there up. OHC engines are not that fun!

There is a place called B&R hear in Oklahoma about the best place 4 stangs so I have herd they said about 1800 to 2000 to fix it and that includes labor and parts and getting the heads re-surfaced and valve job does this sound like a normal price ? And around 600 to re do the rear end with 3.73s .

Re: Head gasket

600 to redo the rear end is ok if it includes gears and rebuilding the tlok. normal installation for a set of rear end gears should be 300 give or take a little.
