Stopping by to say Hello

Hey everyone,

My names Curtis and I live in Washington. Just found this place on my iPhone the other night and read some threads so I thought I'd sign up in case I needed some info while I'm fixing up my car. I have a 1967 Mustang coupe GTA with a 289. Just bought it about a week ago and so far it seems pretty solid but it definitely needs work haha. This is my first Mustang but I've grown up around them, my dad had an 89 GT and a 66 coupe. Hoping to learn a lot more.

Sorry about the picture it doesn't show much I'll post more later when I get around to taking them.

I think I'm going to start with the interior, replace the old carpet and fix the seat and the gauges polish up the dash. Seems like the car had been sitting for awhile everything works its just not in the best of shape. After that I think I'll do wheels, tires, and suspension. Then eventually when I have enough money give it back the old GT paint job.

I really want to keep the classic look of the car but have it drive more modern.

Re: Stopping by to say Hello

welcome

Wow, I'd love to have a 67 GTA to play with...lucky!

Check with CJ Pony Parts (site sponsor) for resto parts...they offer a ton of classic resto parts in addition to their late model stuff.
