New Member - Old Mustang Lover - New Mustang!

Hello, All!

I traded away my 2004 Mach 1 for a 2011 candy red Mustang GT premium with the Brembo package. Wow! What a great car!

I am also the senior editor over at Domestic Driver - A bi-monthly online magazine featuring Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, and GM Cars from 1980+. This car will be included in a few issues - as I add a set of Flowmasters (in two weeks) and the Steeda CAI. Then I'll see how my SCT Livewire makes them even better!

Of course, it appears that SCT has not updated the Livewire to work with the 2011 Mustangs yet. I have been told they are working on it, but it could be a while - and I am not very patient when it comest to upgrades. I may be selling the Livewire to finance an X3 for my Mustang.

I hope to make a Mach 1 out of my ride eventually. I'm looking for a good deal on a flat black rear pedestal wing. I sure hope someone comes up with a Shaker hood for the 2011s soon.

Thank you all in advance for your answers and advice. I hope that I can add a little here, as well.

Cheers!

Andrew

Thanks, guys.

I do miss the Mach 1. She was good to me. If anyone picks up a white 5-speed with 62K miles, the rear aluminum louvers and Xenon side window scoops, let me know how she is doing!

welcome

I think I'd have a hard time trading in a Mach 1 as well...but you can't go wrong with a 2011 GT, amazing cars!

Re: New Member - Old Mustang Lover - New Mustang!

Thanks, guys.

Yes - it was hard saying goodbye to the Mach, but she was involved in a pedestrian accident a while back (homeless guy jumped a Jersey wall and ran across the highway, so it wan't my fault), and my wife has disliked the car ever since. So much that he wouldn't even let me get the same color.

I've already got the Livewire for sale because there is no sign that SCT is updating the Livewire any time soon. Time for the X3 I guess.

Thanks again!
