Newbie from southern az!!

I'm from Tucson, meaning... I get to drive mine year round! Lol anyways I've been a sixxer for a while now and am selling her tomorrow to finally get my gt! I can't wait, now for the questions, what problems are the 2003 gt's prone to? All I've found on the Internet is the lights tend to dimm out blah blah
My plans are to first do the 3.73 gears and a t-lock.
Also want to lower her and I was wondering who makes the best comparable to price lowering springs?
What exhaust should I run since she is stock
Finally is are UDPs gains worth the $
Thank you guys!

Re: Newbie from southern az!!

One mechanical problem is the idle air control valve. Exhaust wise people will fill 3 pages full of opinions just go to youtube and listen to sound clips. UDP's do make the gains they claim to. Don't expect to get any gains from a CAI and exhaust. I will leave the lowering part to spec n sonic. I do believe they will recommend h&r.

Ya I'm one of those that made the mistake of a CAI, and thanks for the pointer on exhaust. And UDPs really can produce 10hp? What otherways are there to just free up hp besides remove ac cause it gets up to 110degrees down here lol

That's ridiculous! You think they would want to speed up the process since they are losing so much money on them! But whatever, I'm not the bank lol
But oh if I was the bank...

Ya not enough to profit off of selling the houses, not until the short sales are all gone.... But damn, 6 houses, you rent them out or what? I can't even keep track of the house in Sierra vista and the mini condo in Tucson and Boone is there if I'm not! But ya I went up there to find a house because I wanted to move near Phoenix but ended up staying in Tucson and doing my own thing

Ya I know what you mean, I am a business owner, my business in la has 3 locations and that is a llc, my business here I'm az is a sole proprietor... SP is easier to set up but the problem is if you get sued then you're done just because they are one in same. Sorry to hear about your father
