I have had my share of Nissans. From Sentras to an older Nissan hardbody lowrider.

Re: Hello. New ride, not a pony

Luck of the Draw. I wouldn't pass it up. My brother picked up a Nissan Truck for $150. Replaced the $80.00 Starter. It ran great for two years. He then sold it for $1000.00

Luck I guess. Ran fine and I sold it to some guy for $500 and he impounded it that day. I loved that little beater. It was so low lol

Re: Hello. New ride, not a pony

That's what happened to my Ranger. I drove it for about 250,000 miles got in 3 wrecks and none were my fault. They totaled my truck a few times and I always made money from it. Then I sold it for $2000.00 to a Latino guy and he impounded a couple of days later. I could have picked it up from the Impound lot but ran the risk if he ever came back with our signed title I could be in trouble. I should have becuase he left it there a long time and I think he was illegal and deported.

The 05 maxima only came with the 3.5 and transmission choices were 5sp auto,
Or 6sp manual.

It's been a while for me... thanks for the clarification Mr I worked for Nissan for my whole life almost... lol jk

3.5 is leaps and bounds better than the 2.5L IMO. Not nearly as plagued with the Cat Converter failures as the 2.5L.

They didn't have a 2,5 for the maxima. The earlier models were 3.0. The 3.0 werent that bad for cats, they were bad for timing issues. The 3.5 has some cat issue but not a whole lot, like the altima 2.5, which Is a four cyl.

Carbs are really low at this point ... Diet + I'm worn out from my workouts. Besides, I usually get cocky on the weekends when I start drinking or flocking to the titties and beer!

No, dude. That would be wack! We can't get anything together from a group of guys who are maximum 15 mins apart! But for real I'm working on some ideas to get everyone together soon, it's just tough with Rob & Lynn's Situation and Louis MIA since his divorce (LOL).

Besides if I get this Plant Operator Job offer I'm pushing for then, well... they can either put me in Service Management somewhere or kiss my *** goodbye. I was guarranteed something and I have performed above and beyond my expectations and the timeframe has passed. It's only a matter of time. Don't get the wrong Idea... I like Allstar and the people I work with but this place is is craziest dealership platform I have ever seen! TOO many micromanagers everywhere! Although, they don't bother me. I do my job and don't worry about all that BS.

3.5L v6 is the only option I think the 05 has. Its an SL trim with sunroof, heated seats, bose, all that crap. It has the normal trans, CVT I dont think was avail until 08~?

My wife wants a 2011 Ford Edge Sport with the vista roof and a couple other things... Maxima is worth about 12k so we shall see.
