Welcome! What Mustang do you have? Tell us a little about yourself and your ride.

To post pics, when you reply you should see a button labeled attatchments. Hit that and you should be able to choose which ones to upload!

K first things first welcome to the corral. Next on the agenda, making your sixxer fast. You have 2 options, boost or spray. If your gonna boost it turbos have a nice flat torque curve and are a sixxers best friend. If your gonna spray it go with a zex wet kit. Very user friendly and safe. Any shot over 75 hp will require a tuner to ****** timing and add fuel to wot

Boost is forced induction. Either a supercharger or a turbo. Spray is nitrous. Nitrous is cheaper to start up but you have to keep filing bottles. Forced induction compresses more air into the engine to make more power. Boost is power all the time on demand, but not cheap. Expect to pay a minimum of 2000 bucks for a used blower plus whatever your tuner is gonna charge to dyno tune it. I had a nitrous kit until today. I am trading for a procharger. Nitrous is for guys like me who are too broke for boost. Nitrous is alot of fun til the bottle is empty

Re: Hey

welcome! my advice for now is to do the research on boost vs. spray and choose which route is best suited for your budget and goals. once you make the decision get a general idea of what it will cost (always consider issues that can come along and make that cost greater). Then you will have an idea of what to save and if it truly fits your budget.

also remember that with the V6, the stock rear end doesn't take major HP gains well. might want to consider upgrading to the GT 8.8 with gears.

there is a lot of friendly and knowledgeable people here to help you out with your project, but most of it will have to come from your own learning and research, especially if you plan to do the build yourself. Patience is key. Good luck!

Yup. Ran a wet kit for years on a couple of ricers! Prolly go with a 100 shot to keep it rather tame.
