Hello all! Just got my mustang

Hey everyone this is my first thread. Just saying hi to everyone. I have a 2000 5 speed v6 mustang with black 2010 GT style premium rims. I'm going to lower it about half an Inch. I'm on my phone I don't think I can post pictures in this app but I'll some later!

Re: Hello all! Just got my mustang

welcome to the forum! post some pics when you get a chance.

I would also probably post a new thread in the "Introductions and Greetings" part of the website.

Re: Hello all! Just got my mustang

lower it at least 1.25 inchs or you want be happy fyi... but are you running the stock size tires on those 2010 rims, if so they are taller and the speedo will be off, that will effect the drop~

No I'm running 245 40 18 on these new rims. I don't know what type of lowering springs I'm gunna go with.

Re: Hello all! Just got my mustang

rim height is fine so no worries there, I would consider a 1-1.5" drop for the best looks, only issue is when you lower it you may (probably will) require caster/camber plates for alignment adjustments to fix the negative camber issue that happens when you lower our cars.

1.5" is the sweet spot, low enough to look better but not so low you cant drive it.

Welcome!!!!

Spec,
YES, Yes and Yes. I dropped mine 1.5" With H&R SS springs. I also added the Caster Camber plates and its a good thing I did, there would not have been enough adjustment to get a proper alignment.

Well everything from the other thread, plasticdipped faux gas cap, pony emblem, real gas cap. Tinted windows, then eventually all black wheels, lowering springs(possibly) and dual exaust.
