Glad to get back on the horse

I just wanted to say high and introduce myself. I am Sam, and I am a loyal Mustanger. My first, a 67 "S" code still sits in my garage, and I have had her since I was 18. I have had a number of GT's and was fortunate enough to own a 03 Cobra. That car was insane, and I did about everything one could do to it. After a divorce in 06, I sold her and bought a Honda. Don't ask, it was a really hard time for me. In 08 I bought a new GT at the request of a dear friend who hated that I drove a Honda. This past Friday, I traded the 08 in for a 2011 GT. This is the first time in a long time that I have been excited about playing with cars, and I just wanted to say hi to the people who understand. So far I have only taken the sound suppressing plugs out of the sound tube, which greatly improved and increased the engine sound within the cab. Next I am looking to lower her down a little with some H & R springs.

Sam

welcome, the 2011 GT's have really brought many back into the Mustang Game, great motor/design with good power for money spent. Best out there right now!

Re: Glad to get back on the horse

I feel your pain brother.I to went through a rough patch with the ex and disappeared from the car scene for about 10yrs.I never had to sell my Olds and have owned it for 18yrs (she was my first) but she has been sitting in the garage for almost 13yrs. Feels good to be back.

Welcome back and welcome aboard!

Re: Glad to get back on the horse

Thanks for the warm welcome; it’s great to be back. I will post more pictures; I haven't had the time to take others. On the other cars, I will have to find them; they are not on this computer. The 67 just sits in the garage, but it is drivable. It's an all original car, but very clean. Again, thanks to you all for a warm welcome.
