Hello! And welcome I'm new here as well. I too, was thinking of getting a v6 premium at first but decided to go big and went with the GT premium. That thing is a beast and I don't regret it one bit

Re: 1st mustang!

The new v6 is 305 horse. Just 5 or so off from the previous gen GT. With a couple of small mods you're wiping the floor with them. Plus you get cheaper payments, cheaper insurance and 30 mpg highway. If you can afford it, by all means get the GT. It's an awesome car. But the v6 is just as awesome in it's own right. I love mine. It's fast, clean and fits my budget.

Re: 1st mustang!

well you already made the decision... trading it in now for a GT would be a bad move as it will cost you a ton and you will just lose more money... should have thought of that before you purchased.

The 2011 is a GREAT car far far far far better than the 2010 model so you should be very happy

Re: 1st mustang!

The new v6 is a good choice if you are concerned about mpg and they have enough power to have fun but it is kinda to late for you to think about a gt ,I'm sure the v6 will prove to be a good choice for you.

Re: 1st mustang!

Yeah I would have to agree with everyone, looked at the v6's but went with the 2012 5.0 premium and it's a beauty. I thought about upgrading to the Shelby afterwards but was well satisfied with what I got, after all it is a mustang!
