Smile hi all need help with my gt

just sighned up going to try this club out. others ive been to never get off the ground let alone help. ive got a 1965 mustang 289 and a 70 dart, 69 explorer.02 f250, and 04 gt saleen. my problem is the gt, the cruise control does not work no lites on the steering wheel even. i checked the inside fuses and they're good. now i know older cars, these newer ones throw me im 60. and never got into the newer ones any advise would help i hate taking it to a dealer.

I have an 03 gt and haven't had any problems electrically with mine, but it would seem that the problem you are experiencing lies from within the steering wheel itself. Have you tried pulling the air bag and checking the electrical connections behind it?

no i hav'nt gone that far yet i'm hopeing i don't have to go that far the lites on the steering wheel don't even lite up so i hope its a power problem thanks for responding and if you think of any thing or know anyone that had this problem let me know thanks again moss114

Mine works and the the steering wheel doesn't light up is it suppose to?

no its not went to ford today talked to a mech. he has a 03 and said that only the 05 and later the steering wheel lites and the dash has a indecater lite thanks

its fixed, it was a bad connection under the dash he didn't even charge me he's seen it a lot

I was going to say trace ur connectons it sounds like a bad or loss conection lol glad u got it fixed and dont be scared of these "new"(er) cars some arnet to bad to work on well at least the fords i dont think id waste my time on the imports fart cars. Do u have any pics of ur toys? Im helping my friends with there old muscle cars ones got a 69 dart gt the other got a elcameno ss 454 1970 allways looking for a good gear head to bounce ideas off of
