New from Michigan

Just stumbled upon this site recently, I spend most of my time at mustangcollective.com.

I have a 2006 Pony convertible, with a few mods. The Xcharger Xtreme, Shaftmasters aluminum driveshaft, J&M HotPart LCA's and adjustable UCA, UMI Performance relocation brackets, 8.8 rear end with 3.55's and LPW girdle, dual exhaust with the GTB mufflers, custom built 6 point cage, and the superstripe for looks. I have a new hood that I am working on which will have the shaker attached directly to the hood so that it pulls cool air on top of the blower, but when the hood is up it doesn't have the plastic covering the blower to hold heat in.

I drag race and daily drive the car year round. Since it runs in the 12's I had to put the cage in (convertibles need at least a 5 point once they are quicker than 13.49 unlike the coupe). And I put a lot of miles on the car, it has 190,900 on it today, still on the stock bottom and top end.

Welcome
Keep us updated as to what else you do to her!
Btw is she still running smooth even at that high mileage? Thinking to stop modding mine at 95k

Re: New from Michigan

She still runs great, wouldn't even know it has that many miles on it.

I didn't even put the supercharger on until it had 90,000 on it, and that was after two race seasons with a 75 shot of nitrous.

Re: New from Michigan

thanks for the welcome!

And blackhawk1 - not as quick as some, but 12.6 in the 1/4 is enough to surprise Camaros and Firebirds!
