New guy from Jacksonville, FL

Names Nick. Drive a 89GT with less than 50k miles. Second owner, first owner did engine mods and I bought the car from his wife after he died. He bought it brand new and supposibly only brought it out to race at Gainesville. It has ran a 13.1 in the 1/4. Wife said he had about 6g in the motor. I don't know what's been done but the car is quick. Many think it's stroked. Since I bought it I've done a complete 5 lug swap using Fords Special Edition Cobra brakes (03 style) with Yukon axles in back. Freshened up the suspension. 17x9 Anthracite FR500 wheels. It has a Cobra upper and lower, March Ram Air Kit. It's a 5 speed car with King Cobra Clutch... stock 2.73 gears which I want to change to 3.73s. Has a 2" cowl hood. I want to supercharge the motor after I find out more of what's done to it.

But for factory paint it's not bad. Recently had some kids run me off the road in the rain... went into the median and messed up the front bumper and bent the radiator support a little. Hope to have that fixed soon.

I really wish I knew what was done to the motor. 13.1 in a 5speed on street tires is pretty strong especially with 2.73s. Car is quick my buddies STi on 23lbs of boost couldn't beat me and he had a decent amount of mods. I raced a 97 Cobra and walked him every time. Want to get it on a dyno.

Guess I'll find out when I end up building a new motor and tear the current one down. It does have equal length Shorties. Everything is ARP bolts, even the thermostat housing so I know the motor has had some work.

Its also got a Ford Motorsports 160mph speedometer and I haven't been able to find another.

Sounds the the builder didn't try to take any shortcuts.I know it sucks not knowing anything.you may try to see if u can find any type of casting marks or numbers on the heads.a lot of people use gt40 heads with those intakes.if that's what's on there I know we can help u identify them.when I first starting trying to Fisher out my cam I made a video of mine.then I used 2 devices at the same time and compared my idle to others with different cams on YouTube.not a for sure way to tell but it was fun anyways.haha
