whats up everyone, my name is xavier and i was just looking around for a catback for my car and came across this site. looking forward to being here. a little about my car, and even less about me:
i have a 98gt that cant break into the 8's in the 1/8; the car is fast enough, but the driver sucks
mods to my car include:
full PI swap
04 IRS
u/d pullies, coil packs, intake, plug wires, clutch, aluminum flywheel and d/s, "catted" x pipe (thats spilling its guts out at the moment trying to become off-road), and stock catback (hence im looking for one...). also have some suspension goodies, which are:
irs swap, strut & shock tower brace, 04 cobra front cobra control arms & tie rods, h&r sport springs, wilwood 13" 6 piston brake kit in the front, 17x9 '95 cobra R wheels wrapped in 245/45/17's in the front and 275/40/17's potenza RE750's in the rear, recaro SRD seat (im cheap and didnt want to buy the passanger side one...).
and a few other exterior mods, mainly just export taillights and the diamond cut head/corner/fog lights.
PS. just added a pic of my car to my avatar

hahaha, not at all. i got the last pair karkraft had, and i paid $420 shipped to my door. they didnt come with bezels tho, so i had to reuse mine, and i had to come up with my own wiring scheme. turned out to be pretty easy. here are some pics......note the IRS in the last pic

Plus I would never hear the end of it if I spent $400 on tail lights from the girl friend.

Speed Concepts barely started selling them not too long ago, maybe about a month and i think they are a limited supply. but ur right, interior should come first, then exterior.

Cause I'm picking up a car this weekend with one already installed...the other one is going to the highest bidder. Picking up a brace for the new one this afternoon, just need to invest on some halfshafts now.
I have a newfound respect for the ford IRS though, spend quite some time ripping the other one down and replacing everything. You looked into the delrin bushing kit for them yet? That's on my parts list for next things to order...

there is a member on svtperformance.com that sells a complete derlin kit that fits better than mm so they say and for MUCH cheaper. I cant remember his name at this time` but he has a good reputation in the autox circle on the forum.
