4.6 to 5.0 swap

hello everybody my name is craig i recently moved to Ashland City Tenn and i have a 99 hard top with a 4.6 what im wantin to do is put a 5 liter motor in it i have had to much bad luck with the 4.6 as i have been trough 4 since buyin the car new i am lookin for sonme advice on how to go about this i am very mechanical so this prolly wont be to hard for me any help would be very helpfull

if you are not very attached to it sell it and buy a 5.0L powered car and go at it. If you really just want the car to be a 5.0 and keep it be ready for more money than you thought it would be. Projects like that nickel and dime you to death.

i think im gonna end up goin with a stand alone i have a saleen kit and a 2 tone pasint job custom int rims exhaust already so i wont get what i want out of since when i parked it i only had i piston that has bad rings so i need a rebuild anyway

4 engines, damn! you drive those without motor oil or something? anyways i'd say if your going to do that go out and get a 5.0 crammer.

ok guys after about 10 hours of searchin and reading and askin questions i have found that a 5.0 swap is prolly not going to happen as it envolves one thing i am not good at wich is installiing alot of wires so i guess i need ideas on how to build this motor to about 700 whp with a twin turbo kit at about 12 or 13 pounds of boost im lookin for heads rods pistons crank and cams and i dont want to go to a 4v engin to many spinning parts and i have to buy 4 cams insted of 2 so any help would be good thank you

If 700rwhp was my goal I would probably save up and buy an 03/04 cobra and TT it.
