Just Bought 2013 GT/CS, saying "Hi"

Well, my first car was an 03 Mustang GT convertible, and last week I brought home a brand new 2013 GT California Special, 6 speed. All I can say is "wow". The differences between my 03 and this 2013 are astounding. The power, the handling, the interior..it's all come so far I can hardly believe it. I enjoy driving this car so much that I actually use it as motivation to get up in the morning.

I had a custom exhaust put on today (muffler deletes, larger tips, everything else the same), and I now feel like the car sounds as mean as it looks . When it was up on the lift at the pipe shop, the technician noticed a little differential fluid just to the left of the pumpkin. Seemed like it was coming from the relief port on top of the axel, and it wasn't very much fluid. I'm taking it back to the dealer to have it looked at, but I'm pretty sure it's probably just overspill from a new differential and um, flooring it.

Anyway, here she is:

very nice car! is that from the frontier ford u bought?
the fluid leaking is the breather nipple (moves around when u touch it) and is normal for leaking bits of oil. I was thinking the same thing but turned out it was normal

Re: Just Bought 2013 GT/CS, saying "Hi"

Thanks for all the comments and welcomes, guys. I took it to a nice detail place near me this morning to get waxed and now it looks like a black mirror. I've gotten so many comments on the car from random strangers! One guy in a Jeep pulled up next to me at a stop light and commented that the tail lights and sequential turn signals looked "effing spectacular". I agree.

I set off the alarm on a Range Rover next to me when I started it up this morning in my parking garage. I just smiled and crept out slowly!

You do have a nice ride... But I would not just creep out without some major noise to possibly set off a few more alarms. Enjoy the detail.

My brother has it in white with the decal delete. All I can say is that looks like a bat mobile.

Re: Just Bought 2013 GT/CS, saying "Hi"

Hey all; For everyone that read in the original post that I was gonna take my new car into the dealer to check out that leak around the rear differential, I just got back and was assured that it was entirely normal. Supposedly the little relief plug there is just sweating. They said to take a look again at the first oil change and if it's still doing it, they'll give me a new/better plug.
