New kid to forums and mustangs

Live up in the cold state of Alaska with a 65 pony looking to bring back to life. Always wanted one and have always had the desire to work on them so now I finally have one in the garage. Just need everyone's help on learning parts of the car and how to restore this potentially beautiful classic

There is someone else from AK, forgot their name though. They've got an 05-09 V6.

Thanks. Guess that's cool and also sucks at the same time since I've been trying to find someone here to help me out with the build. I've tried searching for mustang clubs and come up with nothing. That's why I've turned to the forums so hopefully I can have someone help me from square one on here

Thanks guys. I tried my best it being the first time buying a classic car with looking for rust and what not. There actually wasn't too much other then battery tray and then a little bit near the rear tail lights. Now I just need to start learning how to replace a bunch of stuff and how certain things work.

Yeah. I bought it as a long term project since I've always liked mustangs and now that I have one, I can take as much time as I need to do all the work to it, especially with the long winters of alaska

Yeah, shockingly when the military moved me up here from San Antonio, Texas I too was surprised that there were quite a few muscle cars up here. It's mostly chevelles and 70's corvettes but there's your occasional mustang, camaro, gto etc. I just wish I would have wanted to start working on mustangs when I was back in Texas where there's plenty of mustangs and people willing to help any newbie learn simple mechanics but its like trying to find gold up here
