No, she's pretty cool as far as sharing the car with me. I'll just be glad , when I have my own, so the interior lights & gauges won't be pink. Arrrghhh

I am realizing that at 55 I am now the "Old Man in a Hot Car" driving my 13 GT/CS. Never been one to let a woman sway my decisions, most often using "Dump the B##ch, Buy a bigger Truck" creedo. Have owned 74 Jensen Healey, 67 Jaguar XKE, 80 Porche, and several big trucks, family rigs. This new Stang is tops. My congrats on any fellow owners, young or old, just enjoy the ride!

Welcome and congrats on the new Stang

I drove a 2011 Audi r8 with the v-10 and yea it was fast and nice to drive but I would still choose my Stang over it any day of the week!! I love the feel of the mustang screaming through the gears! Top it all off no car sounds as good as that 5.0!

Sweet Jesus, really? That car makes my pants fit tighter haha. Two vastly different cars, but Iddidn't think it'd even be a contest! The stang's stock continues to rise!

Don't get me wrong it was a nice car and has it benefits over a mustang. For one I wasn't real to crazy about the interior kinda feels "cheap" to me but it was a blast still love the growl of the mustang!!

Enjoy it while you can man. It flies by. Next thing you know you're spending 65 hrs a week a work, engaged, have a mortgage payment, and stay home on Friday nights cause you're to tired to do anything else lmao

In 95 I was 42, putting two kids in college and one in seventh grade, don't ask the wife and I tell each other the youngest was planned

All my life I drive the hand me downs (drove in the steel mills) until I got a new truck for myself in 08 and an 11 GT last August. I'm loving it.

I bought my first ('91 5.0 LX) Stang in my late 30s, the 2nd ('07 GT) in my early 50s and my most recent ('14 GT Track Pack) in my late 50s. Mustangs are made for everyone's enjoyment. For example, a good friend of mine recently sold his '12 Red Shelby and has ordered a '14 DIB Shelby. My friend Jerry is in his late/early 60s/70s and American speed limits DO NOT intimidate him. He loves the occasional road race and engages in ripping through the gears. If you're afraid to lay her ears back occasionally, why own one?

I've owned quite a few Fords (T-Bird, Falcon, Fairlane, Ranchero, Ranger, F-150/250), GM (Olds 98/Delta, Pontiac Skybird, Cadillac DeVille, Chevy El Camino/trucks) and muscle Mopars (Barracuda, Roadrunner and GTX). I can truthfully say (knock on wood), a Ford has never left me stranded like other brands have. Fords have always given me prior notice that something is wrong and safely gotten me to a repair facility or parts outlet. I reflect on the sad days of roasted Fusible Links, unknowingly failed Lean Burn circuitry, flooding Quadrajets, burned Ceramic Resistors, abruptly malfunctioning Hall Effect Pickups, irritating Mopar Gear-Reduction Starters and GM Starter Solenoids/Bendix.

My name has never been listed on a rice-eater title. I'll continue that trend as long as I drive. To me, it's the BADGE that makes the difference. Not the occasional internal foreign parts that American companies choose to force on us.

Welcome to the site! I think this is one of the best introduction threads I've seen in a while!

That's the general feeling I get from Audi.

In my opinion, Audi has one of the best looking cars on the road, however, their interiors appear to be stuck in the '90's.
