Import to Mustang Newb

Hey My names Sarah, I'm from upstate NY. I've been an Import girl since I had my first car. I'm thinking about going to the dark side though I've been looking for a project car and ran across a 1990 LX notch. It's an auto and a 4 cyl. So I thought I'd try joining a forum to get some knowledge before I jump into it. I'd like to do a 5spd swap and thinking of keeping it a 4cyl but turbo'd. If anyone has some advice or knows of some threads to read I'm open for suggestions. I'll be on here Thanks

@LegendLimeGT I did read a thread yesterday that mentioned that. Now its just trying to find it.

@03RedfireGT I have thought about a 5.0... I like the idea of getting just as much power with 4 less cylinders though I understand what your saying though, I probably won't fully cross over till I do the v8.

And thank you everyone for the welcomes

I've heard the 2.3L turbo'd is pretty badass, we have a guy on here who had one, not sure if he still has it i think he traded it out.

---------- Post added at 08:54 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:49 PM ----------

He did trade it out, but I'm sure he'd be able to answer any questions you have about the 2.3, look up 2300turboford

Well I did it. Took me long enough but I bought a mustang. Its an 84 notch with the 89 front. Its got a 5.0 and 5spd. I got a lot of work to do to get it running and where I want it to be, but I'm happy with my $850 purchase!
