So I'm definitely new to Mustangs and actually Fords to be honest (Don't tell the rest of my family..). I've always wanted to get one since the moment my dad and I raced a mach 1 in his camaro. It was close but the sound that any mustang makes is incredible and drove me to wanting one ever since. Now in a few days I'll be purchasing an 02' V6. I may swap the engine one day but for now it has enough punch for me to do what I want. Also my name is Brandon and cars have been my life for years now. Now I just have to even out time from working on our Willy's pickup and my stang

Well this is how my family goes..My uncle has two 69' Camaro SS's, a GTO judge, 77/79/81 Trans Ams.
My dad has a 69' Chevelle
My mom has a 70' Cuda
And I now have what I thought was an 02' Mustang hah, apparently it's an 00' but I'm happy with it. I dunno if the v6 will beat my family's cars stock but maybe with some "slight" mods I can catch up!

Yeah, a member on here mentioned the difference in the radio bezel between 99-01 to 02-04. The 2000 isn't a double so I have a little storage cubbie because they switched out the stock radio that took up two spots. On 02 and up they have buttons or something there. I used that, and how the rear gears were bad to knock the price in half. Also got a friendly deal

$2,500 for a mustang that's in perfect condition, new engine, bad gears (whatevz, it moves for now hah), 5 speed with a short shifter and weighted shift knob. I'm not complaining, I love it. I can't find where the clutch releases at the moment though, its either going to move or just rev. I think they did something there, only way to check is to drop the trans and I'm not feelin that right now

About an inch or two from 1st down to 3rd so I'm def thinking it is, during the test driving I thought it was just my fault at first but there's no way that small amount of travel can be stock.
I'll check it later because I suck at removing shift boots so I'd rather keep it looking nice for now xD
