New member with a question

Hi, I haven't own a mustang since the 70's (mustang 2 with a 4 banger). been driving euro for a long time and have been lusting after returning to American Muscle, been researching and reading everything I can find on the net but wanted to ask some actual owners what they thought of the two models I have narrowed down my search of my next veh.

I am trying to decide whether to go for a 2013 Boss 302 or a 2014 GT premium with GT track package. for the few left over Bosses out there it seems there is about a 5k-7k premium in price.

is the boss worth the extra cash?? In terms of performance and handling over the GT with track package??

I have driven a GT briefly without a track package but not a Boss 302.

I ride sport bikes and have done numerous track days on them (ducati 900sscr, 996, 999, aprilia RSVR factory, rc51, and currently a modded S1000RR). so I am a performance junkie.

I decided against the GT500 as I really don't wish to spend 60+K and from I have read the Boss is easier to drive well without the godly power of the 500 trying to rip you from the tarmac on the curves.

thanks for any info you can share.

If it's just down to the matter of choice. I'd go with the Boss. Simply because it's a numbered car and would likely hold it's value better. That's my speculation at least.

well I made a choice, ended up going with a 14 GT with a track package and comfort package, had to get the electric passenger seat as with the manual seat my 5-3 wife couldn't see out of the car and I do not want her getting car sick or unhappy with the veh. the closest one to be found was up in MO. so the dealer is bringing it in and we will take delivery Monday or tues!!Ruby Red with a char/cashmere interior.

Nice choice, I really like dark reds. You won't be disappointed.
