Hi Guys

New member here. My name is Scotty and I live in the Seattle area. After doing quite a few mods to my 2012 Boss 302 I reached the point where I wanted to either supercharge the Boss or get a new car. After thinking about it and deciding that I missed some of the options like leather, power seats, blue tooth, my color dash, etc. I decided to make the switch. I found a sweet deal on this new 2013 RS3. I have 1200 miles on the Roush now and 900 of those were made on the road trip to Utah to pick her up. I am looking forward to Spring when I will start putting some miles and maybe a few mods on the new car.

Take care
Scotty in Seattle

Thanks for the reply guys. It is nice to share info on the forums. I found that the Boss 302 forum was great and met a bunch of nice guys on their forum. Since switching to the Roush forums I have not found the same. One of the Roush forums shut down and one of the other does not work very well. It is great to get a couple replies a soon as I posted. Those are some great cars 1 Alibi 2, thanks for your comments.
So far I am planning on doing the Roush 625 HP kit (part #421389) and I am thinking about doing the rear seat delete kit with the Race Red X-Brace. Also thinking about doing a aluminum drive shaft. It looks like you are doing a lot to your cars. It takes a lot to keep up with the GT500"s .
Have got to run now, My Wash Huskies playing on TV.. Take care guys and I hope to get to know you all better.

Welcome from Alaska. I'll be traveling through Seattle on my way to Bellingham in April with my 2014 GT500.

A buddy of mine did the Roush 625 kit on his 13 GT, he seems pleased with the results. He has talked about upgrading to the 675 offering, but hasn't moved on it yet.
For a drive shaft, might I recommend The Axle Exchange - Driveshaft Shop - NJ
I have one on my 11, it's the driveshaft my tuner recommended. There have been no issues with it at all.

Very nice car! I love what Roush does to the car. They look sharp and perform very nice. So you had to go all the way to Salt Lake to find that one... No Roush Ford dealers in Seattle? Ordered my from a Roush dealer in Nampa ID... Name has now changed from Wiebold to Corwin Ford. Great guys to deal with.

Enjoy! Should be a blast to drive!

I went to Salt Lake for the car deal...They gave me real good money for my 2012
Boss 302 and discounted the Roush 10,000 from sticker because it was a new 13 and not a 14... I was very happy with the deal..

Thanks Scotty! So far love the ride, just wish spring would come so I can break it out and drive it. Not good car weather in Boise right now. Too much salt and sand on the wet or icy roads.

Also wondering if I some day I am going to regret not getting a Stage 3. I guess I can always add the supercharger...

So I bet it was hard to give up the Boss. But, I am with you the Boss is nice and fast, but I could not see myself without some of the comfort features. Enjoy your ride!

Thank ya. Not pro, a pretty good camera. But I take a lot of pictures at different settings and I have a pretty good eye for what looks good - like you.
