Hi Folks- I've been on a couple other Mustang forums but new here. I'm 55 and live in LA, CA. My prior Mustangs were '65 and '66 versions some 30 years ago. I bought my '13 GT (icon 6m base) in 9/12, telling myself I wouldn't do mods until at least 7k miles. That didn't work so well - the car is too much fun to play with! I was raised on small block Fords but I'm really impressed with the new 5.0. Tezz

Mods thus far: Barton shifter, FRPAA suspension, Steeda strut camber plates and adj UCA, GT500 axle back exhaust, SVT GT500 19x9.5 wheels, GForce TA Comp 2 245/275 tires, CS upper grill & lower fogs, 3.73 FR gears, JLT breather oil catch can, MMD gas struts on hood, GT strut bar, GT350 floor mats and shift knob (don't give me crap over them - I used to have one and they are a mini tribute), windows tinted slightly darker than these pics, leather 2 tone grey/charcoal seats and doors panels, illuminated Mustang sills...probably forgetting something....
To do as funds become available: Upgrade to Brembo brakes, Boss radiator and oil cooler, trade up Tokico adjustables to Koni adjustable shocks/struts, tires will go up to 275's all around or maybe 275/295's.

Make sure you aren't trying to upload a pic under where it says "Add Video." I always do that. haha

The 11+ Mustang GT's are really an entirely different ball game. Ford did a great job with that car. I drive a 2011 GT and I'm impressed on a daily basis! They mod really well, every time I add a new modification to my car I fall in love with the car all over again.

I see you didn't waste any time with modding! I see you also have some really good plans for the future. Let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance in the near future!

Thanks, guys. I'm really enjoying this Mustang. I took it out to Willow Springs Raceway for the Cobra Owners Club track day. While it was really fun to hammer on it, I didn't go too crazy with the stock brakes getting a little crunchy after a few hot laps. Really happy with the suspension though.

Chuckwalla Valley Raceway out past Palm Springs has a good school that uses '13 Boss Mustangs set up for the track. They run Groupon specials for 1/2 their usual cost. I heartily recommend it, even if you don't want to risk tracking your own car. Ear-to-ear grins guaranteed. If I hadn't gone through their course, I would have been a mess in my car out at Willow.

Hello everybody. I just joined a little late. Thanks to the forum I got all the right info to do the PI swap myself. This is my first Mustang. I drove a 68 Camaro until I stopped racing a couple years back. I'll say one thing. "Why didn't I start out with a Mustang sooner?"
I'm really happy with my current set up. All stock and runs flawless. And 25mpg is wayyyy more do-able than 6mpg so I only need one car now. I'm always lookin for an excuse to to gp somewhere just to pull off my daily 2 wheel burnout in a secluded part of the road. Keepin it safe!

Welcome Mosified. You probably should make a post of your own instead of tagging it on to mine - it will get lost!

Thanks again. I feel right at home here and my GT wouldn't be fun if it wasn't for Mustang Evolution Forum. But like I said, I wish I got into Mustangs a long time ago. I finally understand all the MODD"S HYPE.. And I believe all the HYPE
