New to this

No idea what I'm doing but I'll figure it out...completely new to this site. Never have been apart in any kind of forums. 23 year old female from Texas. Bought my first mustang when I was 18 it was a 99...then moved up to an 07. Now a few weeks ago I got rid of the 07 and bought a brand new 2014 mustang V6 with performance package. It's safe to say I'm a little obsessed, forever committed to mustang!Click image for larger version

Your doing just fine so far. Just remember to read the stickers at the top of each section before posting so you can get acquainted with the rules

Yep...that FP6 appearance package is what sold me on that one...the black on black, louvers, and gloss painted mirror covers and what not made me feel confident that I would be satisfied with the looks of it for a while until I can do some of my own modifications on it (:

Another FP6 here. Same color, too. I couldn't get the heated seats (not a bad thing to have here in Michigan) with my package so I had them put in afterwards. Are you gonna black it out?

Already did...that was one of the first things I had done with the car is have the windows all tinted haha. All black limo tint on the back and 35% on driver door and passenger door. No need for heated seats here in Houston though (:

Cool. I bought all the small tint, (side markers, tail light, etc.) and plan on getting some rear window louvers, just waiting for the weather to warm up before putting it all on, they recommend 70 degrees or higher for applying it. I'll have the side windows done then also.

Nice, I would deff like to see pictures once you get them on, esp since we have the same car the only thing I'm saving up for next is a BBK cold air intake and a BBK throttle body...I want to give it a little more power

If you're on your phone, tap the post itself and then an option to quote it should appear.

Yeah, I'm resisting that urge for now, though it's very hard cuz I drag race during the summer and it's in my blood. But I don't want to do anything that'll void any warranty coverage should something go wrong. I might go for a CAI that doesn't require a tune, but don't know if I can justify almost $300 for very little performance boost.

You know I honestly didn't even think about that, thank you for bringing it to my attention. Maybe for now I'll just stick with the cold air intake. The one I'm getting from BBK doesn't require a tune either. But we'll see. I know as far as looks I deffinetly want to change out the grille to completely black out the front aside from the head/fog lights. And maybe get some painted break calipers, probably red. How're you enjoying the car so far??

I'm still under 500 miles, mostly because of the weather here in Michigan and the fact that I've been on a voluntary layoff from work since December 1, got the car the same day. Once I go back in February it'll be getting much more drive time. But for what little drive time I've had, so far so good. First time I've dealt with the SYNC, so that's been interesting. Funny though, I've never been one to really care where I park, but now I'm paranoid of shopping carts, tight parking spots, etc. Wondering if when I go back to work if I'm gonna be one of those people parking WAY in the back away from everyone. We'll see.

I'm over 1,000 miles already. But it's my daily driver so not much I can do about that lol and mostly just highway miles. But yep, I know how you feel. I park out in China when I go any where. The first door ding is going to KILL me I know it. I work at a Starbucks with a drive thru so I park behind the building and I can see it whenever I want to in the drive thru cameras while I'm working (: were you able to get your phone all hooked up with SYNC? When I bought the car they had done all that for me at the ford dealer
