Hello from Manor, TX

Hi, fellow Mustang enthusiasts. Just bought my first Mustang, a 2010 GT Premium with 3.73 rear. I've loved driving since the first time my dad let me behind the wheel of a car some 20 years ago, but for some reason never even thought of a Mustang. I have had an eclectic history of car ownership, from a big old boat (olds custom cruiser wagon) to a sporty little roadster (MR2) to SUVs.

I spent a lot of time looking into which mods I wanted to put on this GT, and now that I've gotten it and spent a little time behind the wheel with Traction Control off, I realize, this thing doesn't need anything more than what it came with. It'll break the tires loose and go nearly sideways if I lay into the gas, it's got great acceleration, the steering is very responsive, and honestly, I don't think it would be remotely safe for me to try to see if I can push this thing to the limits of traction on any public roads so I think I've got more than enough car for me.

I did notice that I have different brands of tires on the car, but they're all pretty new (still have the little nipple things poking out of them and lots of tread depth). The fronts are both P-zero nero and the rears are two different brands. This shouldn't affect anything, right? I don't plan on taking this car to the track, I wanted it for a 10-15 minute commute to be enjoyable

At any rate, I'm really happy with this car, and I plan on enjoying it for a long time
