Alfredo

Hi,
My wife & I are retired Brits and living in Spain.
For some reason the 'boy racer' re-surfaced so we just bought a 2000 Mustang V6, 3.8 manual.
One previous owner - Spanish - was working in Los Angeles and bought it new.
He later imported it into Spain, then took it to Manchester, England, then back to Spain where we bought it.
Well travelled but only 75000 miles.
Love it!

Congrats on the car, and that's a pretty cool story on how it made it's way to you.

I feel like that has to be a really rare car in those parts. Congrats getting it. If you REALLY want to unleash your inner racer, invest in some high quality suspension parts. The 3.8's are great around the twisties when you put some suspension work into them.

Hi,
Thanks.
Previous owner was a Spanish guy and bought it new in Los Angeles when he was just 22 years old.
He must have thought he'd died & gone to heaven !

Hi.
It seems to be in really good shape.
It's a new experience for us as we've always had a 4x4, and a motorcycle but due to age we decided to give up motorcycling & sold our Harley.
We've always admired the 'iconic' Mustang since the 60's so we're having a great time, especially here in Spain with open roads, little traffic & lots of sunshine.
You Americans really know how to make motor vehicles !

I can't upload them from my computer - I think they've got too many pixcels or whatever, but I'll keep trying.

Your photos are too high-quality for the on-site upload, that's a good thing.

Go to imgur: the simple image sharer, upload your photos there via the button on the top-right, select upload in the pop-up, then on the right side where the 'codes/links' are, select the "BB Code (message boards and forums)" code and copy it. Come here and simply paste it in the text box.

I'd love to see pictures as well.

Thanks,

I've tried but I'm not good with the finer points of computers.
The car is silver and is original and not modified.

It looks immaculate, but closer inspection shows it has been 'keyed' - not sure if
you use that phrase in the USA - some low-life scratched it over the boot (trunk?)
and along the driver's side.

When finances allow (we live on pension) we will have a partial respray and we would love to
install a 'Magnaflow' exhaust system. The Magnaflow costs more than $1000 US here, so we have to save.

Yes, we say 'keyed'. Trunk is correct as well. That's very unfortunate, my first Mustang had nasty key streaks in it as well, and I had it completely repainted.
