New Mustang Owner from California

Hello everybody first time mustang owner. I bought my sterling gray 2010 v6 premium last August. Haven't had much done to it since I've bought because I'm debating on what to do next year. I'm debating on getting either a new 2015 v6 or 2014 gt depending on if the money is right. I would love to get the 2015 gt but waiting to see what the msrp is gonna be for the 2015s. Looking to meet cool new people.

That's what's up. Man I like your 6, I've been debating on whether I want to buy a gt next year or get a 6 with the performance package in the same color. I want to get the 15 gt but I'm still waiting to see what those are gonna go for.

Thanks man. I think it depends. If you want the v6 gas mileage and insurance perk then get a 6 with the pp. If I had the money I probably would have gotten the 5.0 with track pack. But those are two very different prices. Just factor in insurance, gas, and taxes when buying the car. Also you will get any 14 for cheaper when the new 15s come out. You get the reliability of not being a guinea pig for any minor problems that might occur like condensation in headlights ect. That might come with the new 15s. Also you'd have to be fine with the more European look the 15 has

Haha ya, I've been doing a lot of research on what I want to go with and from what it looks like; budget wise it'd be smarter for me to go with a 6 with the pp. At the same time I'm gonna try and save almost 10k to put down so a GT might be possible. I personally like the new look 15s but then again you got a point who knows what minor problems it might have.

That's one of the reasons why I got the 14 is that it is at the end of the production for that style and all the kinks from 12/13 have been worked out. But I also think the 14 has more of a muscle look to it and couldn't wait. Always was a dream to have a Mustang haha.

Same here, I got the 2010 last year and have been wanting to trade it in but the wifey wants to keep it for her. I can't wait to get my 14 and I think the 6 will be perfect for me. Still has a lot of power compared to the 10 I have now and your right it does have more of that muscle look to it compared to the previous years. With all the rebates they're offering right now and with the x plan pricing I can get through my job I'm looking at 20-21k overall. I can't wait.

Yeah two mustangs in the household could get expensive haha. The 3.7 might be a better option to save money and if you really wanted to, you could get as much power if not more than a stock 5.0 if you want to invest the money down the road when it comes. Oh also if you are a Costco member you will save a ton, even more than X plan pricing. Basically you will get it at invoice - discount. Cheapest you'll get and all you need to show then is a Costco membership id. Heck I'd even get one for the $50 a month or what ever it is just to get the discount.

Ya its official I've made my decision I'm going to stick with the v6 and get the pp. I just went online and compared prices with costco and the xplan and costco has the price beat by 600 dollars. Just gotta find one in Sterling Gray

Ya man we gotta a pretty good group of mustang owners out here in Stockton. In the summer time they usually do a meet up at the sonics off the I-5. I haven't done to much to my stang yet I'm waiting to buy my new one next year.
