Car looks fantastic! I'm not a huge fan of verts but it looks well taken care of.

Good job on the purchase!

Now time to start modding.

I guess the only reason I don't like them a ton is because almost every vert I've been in had leaks. And they don't feel as solid. And they're a little heavier(which I don't notice except when you put it down on paper).

That being said.. Some subframes and a new top and I would like them! Haha.

The only thing that took awhile getting used to was it sounding like the windows were always open haha. Other than that it's been fine!

I forgot about that too! Haha.

I bought my first convertible in 1991 and have never been without at least one since. I have two right now. It is a whole different driving experience with the top down. With you living in California, you can get a lot more enjoyment than me. Mine are packed away 6 months every year. Little kids just love watching that top go up and down also. Fun to see the looks on their faces and hear their reactions when you are parked somewhere and put it up or down.

We belong to a convertible club in Wisconsin that gets about 200 cars together every August for a 4 day trip together. Many of the cars are Mustangs. It's a great time. We get people from as far away as Florida, Texas and Arizona. Below is a link to the website. They try to limit it to 200 cars, but members are guaranteed a spot in August, even if we have more than 200. If any of you convertible people are interested in making the trip to Wisconsin, fill out the membership application now, because they will be sending out the sign-up sheets for the trip in May or June. If the members fill it up, non-members don't even get an opportunity to go. Put Member #409 on the application form as a referral.

Man, that thing is nice! Have fun modding it. Take it from me, once you start you'll never be able to stop. Wave good-bye to your bank account!

You should see if there is a convertible club in California. Try searching the Web.
