Hey what's up I'm new

I have a 2009 gt, only done a flow master exhaust and tinted windows lol. But I love it, it's my first Mustang I was always kinda against them because I had camaros. Then I test drove the s197 and liked it. It's not as fast as my 2000 Ss camaro but it's not far off either. I think the major difference I've noticed is the top end feels safer on the stang. I could go 145 in the ss but it felt a little shaky. But yea just wanted to ask a question, I recently lost my job and I am trying to save money so I put regular gas in, from searching on Google I found that is isn't bad for it but my question is, what is the difference in performance? Hp? Anything else? Also what's the best way to preserve the stang from common stang problems? Thankz

You'll be fine with regular unleaded. The best way to keep "mustang problems" from happening, is to stay current on your maintenance. Make sure your air filter is clean, your oil is clean and your tires are properly inflated. Those things will help you get the best mpg's for your car. Oh and welcome aboard.

Thanks bros. Yea I've realized that the best mpg I can get is 16. Which kind of sucks but whatever. I put premium in there first then I out regular in there. I can feel a slight difference in get up. I'm kind of wishing I got the 5.0 but the 4.6 is still pretty damn fast and I'm sure by the end of the summer I can do some things to it!!

Yeah get yourself a 93 tune, Long tube headers, cat back exhaust and some pulleys. That'll wake it right up. You'll probably need some stickier tires after those mods.
