Hey whats going on guys, just picked up a 2011 Mustang
GT premium (6spd) yesterday! Its completely stock except for a Roush axle back, and apparently a short shifter? (or so I am told)
Traded my fully bolted Fiesta ST in for this, great car, but I will never use it for what it was made for, and I really missed having some V8 rumble. Not to mention the fact that basic bolt ons and a tune gets you to 400ish whp, which is nice. Also I think I'm a little bias, my dad always owned 5.0's, so I kinda grew up with them.
I'm no stranger to the car world, in my 25 years on this earth I have owned a Mustang SVO, 1980 Z28, Acura Integra, big turbo SRT-4, RX8, big turbo Mazdaspeed6, MX5 miata, CTS-V, Fiesta ST (was a moderator on 2 sites), and now the Mustang.
As far as the mustang goes, I can't wait to start modding it.
I think I am going to slap an X pipe in, and replace whatever piping is left down there with some 3", intake/bama tune, maybe a 302 mani, who knows. The suspension on this car really needs to be addressed too, its WAY to soft and bouncy, so shocks/springs are also high up on the list, as well as new wheels down the road.
I'm also open to whatever advice/opinions you guys have to offer. I'm new, and will basically just be reading threads on here for the next month until I can grasp the do's and don'ts of the 5.0
