Feels like High School all over again!!!

New to the forums and just bought my first Mustang. I've never thought of myself as a Mustang guy. I did have a Charger RT for a short while a few years ago but found it sluggish... Went out looking for a new WRX 2 days ago, but finding a manual turned out to be difficult. Subaru here in Alberta claims it's a 2 month wait, and as it turns out... was a blessing in disguise. Thought I'd drive around and check out the used lots when I stumbled upon this 2014 GT Premium with the track package (or Brembo Performance package I think it says on the window sticker). This thing is a beast. I've barely put 100 kilometers on the odometer but it gets looks and comments everywhere I go. I can't keep from smiling every minute I'm behind the wheel. The minute I fired it up for the test drive I was immediately reminded of my high school days. IROC's vs 5.0's. I was in GM's camp at the time but secretly admired those brutal shoeboxes. The 90's... seemed the era of the muscle car was over and I found imports more appealing. While I've admired the new breeds from a distance over the last 5-10 years I considered those days behind me. It feels like high school all over again and I'm lovin' it.

Congrats!!!! Looks like a sweet car!! Just wait for the mod bug to bite you. Once you start modding you just can't stop.

Congrats on the buy!
I'm also new to the mustang game, just picked up a 1 owner low mile 2011 GT premium
Would have loved to snag myself a 14, but just a little out of my price range at the moment.
Really jealous of the heat extractors on the hood, wish the 11's had that

Colin1337, I'm a little embarrassed to admit, I didn't realize those heat extractors were functional. Need to get to know my car better I guess. Hope you're enjoying your new ride as much as I am mine.

Soccerluvr4, I'm trying to resist the mod bug for awhile. I've been on a mild spending binge over the last year or so (bought a 2014 Pathfinder Platinum for the wife a few months back as well) and this buy is supposed to mark the end of it for awhile. Would like to open up the airflow a little though with a good cai and exhaust though

Congratulations. Glad to hear it feels like high school all over. Never grow up in the wrong ways I always say.

LOL, on you talking about resisting the mod bug and mentioning CAI and exhaust in the same post. That said enjoy
