new here but life long stanger

Hello all.

I'm working on a '94 v6 with my son. We're installing an '01 engine and automatic tranny and trying to learn about what works together and what doesn't. While doing a google search on 4.2 swaps I came across a nice write up here, so I decided to join and hopefully learn some new things.

Welcome to the forums! Mustangs make great father/son and even father/daughter projects. My dad started me out when I was 14 with a 1966 Stan coupe with a 289 and C4 auto tranny. To date I've owned 16 Mustangs. Good luck with your project!

Welcome! I have great memories working with my dad on my first car (my 03 v6).

Glad to see other dads passing on the passion for cars to the next generation.

Be sure to post any questions you may have about the swap or mustangs in general. This forum is full of great people offering plenty of information.

Hope to see you on the boards!
