Houston, New to the Stang world!

Just recently picked up my first Ford ever and I'm ecstatic that its an awesome 2012 v6 Mustang with the 6 Spend Manual Transmission. Non premium unfortunately but living in Houston most of my life I've learned that leather sticks to skin hardcore but doesn't hold stink like cloth. Oh well can't have everything right?

I was driving a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS with the 5 speed, gave it to the wife and now I have this. I bought it from an AutoNation Ford in Katy Texas with 18,600 one owner miles. Certified preowned for $18,800.

So far its dropped with SR Performance lowering springs, MMD Black tail light trim, gloss black rear center ford cap, 101a appearance package and the black billet upper and lower grilles with the Tri-Pony Logo.

Plans for now: Exhaust, intake, rims, "blackout" a few things and some interior pieces.

Thanks for looking!
Sam

Cool Long time No see

Been a while and I've done quite a few things!

Since I'm a paranoid Pu$$y (Warranty, already saved me $2k...) I have not done any performance type mods.

All Cosmetics:

First Things First, Correct "Some" of the Shifter Issues. Steeda Shifter Bracket and Satin Weighted Shift Knob.

---

Installed the Cervini Ducktail Spoiler

---

My buddies Nova (WIP) and Mila, Some Tinting Done

---

Installed Pypes Pype Bombs. Had issues (Alignment, Hanger Arm Damage) with them (Got em Used for Dirt Cheap), Sold em and Bought New MAC Axle Backs (LOVE THESE!).

---

Finally was able to pick up some new wheels, 2012 California Special Rims, 19"x8.5", Slapped some Goodyear Eagles, Front 245/45/19 and Back 275/45/19.

---

That's all for now! Not bad for less than a years worth of work.
I am flipping addicted to this car....Already have plans for the next mod...can not wait!

Thanks for stopping by!

Not too sure about that! Some of the 15's GT wheels look amazing, I would love to trade mine for the 5 spoke set that some of em have.

But I agree 100% way better than the Stock 17's I had!

Tuner, Mid H-Pipe, Shorty Headers, 3.55 Gears, Once Piece DS and a Wet Nitrous Kit. Little by little and probably in this order as well.

Part of me wants my V6 to be the "Underdog" but at the same time all these mods are very co$tly and it makes we wonder if it would be more beneficial to put the money towards a GT.

Not too sure still, its not like I have money so these mods won't happen any time soon, but a tuner is possibly a X-Mas to present to myself but got a wife to worry about too.

Same boat brother!! Just one day at a time!!! I may have to wait till next spring before I can do any mods. But at least I started with the GT, so in having a little bit of fun with it! I love my s550 GT!!! Just keep the eyes on the price bro! Don't think that v6 or gt is the question, is the end goal. They both can produce plenty of hp to have tons of fun with. Your choice bro, just have fun with it and enjoy the ride!!

Nice car 3.7.

Side note: if you ever decide to go with an aftermarket hood, I will buy yours. Or if you want to swap front ends with my 2013 gt, we could do that too.

@GTGirl
Thanks for the comment, I know I love these rims too! Probably the best 2011-2014 Ford rims.

@CodyC
Thanks man! I do want a Stalker II hood but little pricey at the moment! I'll let you know.

I feel you on the Stalker II hood. If I can't eventually get a hold of an oem hood, that's the route I'll be taking.

To be honest with your cars setup I would shoot for a GT hood because of the hood vents but I am getting the vibe that you like 2010-2012 front end better (me too )

Yep, I like the 10-12 front ends better. Plus, the Boss lower front fascia that I love only fits on those years.

I already have a 2012 front bumper sitting in my garage, so the next major piece is the hood, which will either be the stock aluminum or the Stalker II. Nobody has a black 10-12 hood that's in good shape for sale though.

Yea that was one of the things that I wanted when I picked out my stang. I wanted a 2010-2012 design. To me it still has that retro esq look still, not that the 2013-2014 dont but i feel the 2010-2012 design was better. In my opinion of course.

My hood is 98% perfect still but one spot of cancer is starting to show on the lip of the hood near the passenger head light.

I don't disagree. The 10-12 front with the 13-14 rear equals no compromises for me.

lol cancer, make sure you take care of that spot so it doesn't metastasize.

I would only like the tails from the 13-14's other than that I actually really like the way mine looks.

Yea I tried to get Ford to take care of it but they pretended to not notice it when I took her in. I still have 15k+ miles left on my Certified Pre-Owned warranty I plan on taking her in for the hood before that ends and anything else of course.

Thanks! Yea its an awesome piece. Part of me wants to be like the rest and grab the Cali Special or the GT500 wing but at the same time I like being different.

Only complaint on this wing is the fact it requires 3M tape to hold it down. For the most part after almost a year it held down onto the trunk very well but one side is starting to rise up. Probably needs to be redone.
