Cool New Member from Melbourne, FL

Hi all,

New member here. Just bought a 2012 V6 vert premium with manual transmission. Car is in beautiful shape with 11,500 miles. Paid $19K from a private seller. Seems like a good deal.

Been looking for a while for this car, 2011+ manual V6 convertibles seem to be very rare. This week, I could only find one other for sale nationwide, and it was in Colorado. Also had a broker searching auctions for one, but he found only one on the block in the last month.

Many are listed on autotrader, cars.com and ebay as manuals, but looking at the pics, sellers apparently don't know what a manual transmission is. LOL.

Not my first Mustang. I also have a 2000 V6 coupe that I gave to my son last year when he turned 16. It had been lowered, dual exhaust, underdrive pullley, short shifter, 17" GT wheels. Last xmas he got all new struts, shocks, sway bars, tie rodends, and subframe connectors for it. It rides like it's on rails now.

I'm also a member at V6power. I lurk alot, post rarely, but have learned a ton over the years.

Looking forward to learning about the fifth generation Mustang.

Welcome! I went through that in 08 when I bought my 06 and with my old car dying fast I settled on the auto.

A manual convertible is rare much less a V6. I've been casually looking for a 11+ GT vert with a manual and there aren't many of those either.

I think dealers do that to get their search results up .
