Newb with a "what if" question

Finally talked to the wife into looking at Mustangs and getting rid of her trailblazer. I've researched most of the day, and we've come down between 2 vehicles.

2010 Mustang GT Premium, Navigation, leather, heated seat. 19,800
2011 Mustang GT Premium, Navigation 23,900

I've read all day about 4.6 Vs 5.0, and 5 speed vs 6 speed.

Should I justify the extra 4K for a 5.0 and an extra gear? Keep in mind the car will be a daily with a track day every month or two.

Assuming it is down to those 2 cars only, and with the very limited information you have provided, pick the 5.0.

You're not just paying 4k for the extra gear/engine. You're paying 4k for a better car.

This is what I have been reading, guess I need some more verification on it.

I also just found a 2013 for 24K.

Is Navigation decent with Fords? This would be my first personal Ford, though we have several work trucks that have worked great.

If it's a choice between 4.6 and 5.0 go with the 5.0

Well....I'm a mustang owner now. While I would have loved to go with the 5.0 motor, the deal that was had on the 2010 with a 4.6 and Navigation was too hard to pass up.

Leather, navigation, sync, etc. I like it, even if it's not a 5.0
