New to the forum

So I am new to the forum but not so new to the mustang community. I have literally loved mustangs my whole life. I got my first mustang about a year ago. I have a 2012 Shelby GT500 and have had it for almost a year now. I plan to start modifying it within the next few months but not the same way everyone else modifies their GT500s. Instead of going with more power (already has plenty for me), I plan on doing a full suspension upgrade and weight reduction along with a few more exterior mods. Any tips for the car and forum will be very helpful. Click image for larger version

nice way to start. My 02 gt is my first, goin on about 2 years now. But my goal is eventually to have a higher end like a shelby.
Best tip i can think of for now, check out a few threads about car detailing, assuming you want to do it yourself. If you wanna hold that car for a good long time and keep that show room shine, then get familiar with "the 2 bucket method" for washing, good waxes, etc.
from a fellow white car owner, look into Sealers, as opposed to waxes. Carnuaba shines great on black or dark cars, sealers and synthetics tend to gloss up best on white. you can still use both in layers of course.

hope that helps. welcome to the forum.

Thank you but I am very aware of everything involved in taking care of the cars paint. I fully detail the car every 2 weeks. Every time I detail the car I spend the whole day making sure it's perfect. The one thing I like more than the car, is being able to take care of it.

Also, it's a garage queen. Only 6k miles. But highly doubt it'll ever be for sale as its literally my dream car.
