New member. Second time Mustang owner

Hello. Picked up a 2014 convertible couple months ago and have been really having fun with it. I had bought a new 1992 GT back in the day but unfortunately had to sell her. Been taking advantage of all the great advice on these forums. So far I have added a Steeda tune and 3:55 gears. Huge difference. Any Vegas members?

Convertibles are the BEST! Welcome to the forum..........what is your upper limit for temperature there in Vegas before the top has to stay up with the AC on?

Thanks for the welcomes! Guard 5.0, during the day I think about 95 degrees is my limit. But, after dusk it's always top down time! I now see why you guys love the ragtops.

That's about our limit here too.....but I'll bet we have a lot fewer days above that temp than you do!......we had a hot streak here though that started the day we bought the car about 10 days ago.... so we took it to the Oregon coast where it was 61 degrees......we had the heated seats on!

Ragtopman you're absolutely correct about driving with the top down. When we first purchasd the car and drive top down I felt like I was on a vacation. Even when driving home from work! Guard 5.0 we had a hear wave last week with temps over 110. So It was A/C for weeks. Would love to have heated seats come winter. I only have a couple of pics.

Welcome. How do you like that Steeda tune compared to stock?

The Steeda tune woke up the car. It is more responsive to throttle, shifts are firmer and feels more powerful. The exhaust appears more aggressive (though that may be my imagination ). The tune combined with the 3:55s really test your ability to restrain from digging deeper into the skinny pedal. Truly night and day difference. I did both a few months after getting the car and am GLAD i didn't wait any longer. I enjoy driving the car much more.

Just noticed you have a stick. I'm sure it will still provide a big boost in the fun factor. You won't regret it.Btw, what gears are you running?
