New Guy!

Hello all! I'm a new Mustang owner from Central PA. I just bought a 2001 Mustang GT Convertible. I've always wanted a Mustang. Recently I saw this one for sale for a good price. It really needs some cosmetic work but has low miles and runs well. I figured I can work on the cosmetic stuff over time. I know right away it's going to need a new convertible top and the seats need redone. It should be a fun little project.

That's about all I have for now. I look forward to talking with all of you.

It's nothing great to look at right now but here it is. I'm going to change the top to black and I'm going to swap out the headlights and tail lights. They will be my first 2 projects.

Yea. I knew coming in it had to go. It's in really bad shape. I also need to add some pops of color somewhere. I'm just not sure how to go about that yet.

New Guy!

maybe silver stripes would match well...?
hmmm...

if i ever bought an older convertible with a raggedy top, I think I would just get rid of it all together.

its dark grey, so you'd need something matching, & not clashing
so... silver would compliment it best, i think.
maybe black?
that's what i would do.

(& definitely a BLACK top!)

It's black, the gravel reflection makes it look somewhat grey.
