My name is Chuck, if it's not already apparent. I've been around mustangs all my life. It all started with my Grandpa who had (and still has) a 1966 Mustang
Coupe. It had an inline 6 engine and was a manual. It was his very first car. We are currently restoring it, but that story is for another time.
I started my mustang adventures after selling my overly modified 1999 VW Jetta GLX in order to buy a 2001 True Blue Bullitt. That car and I had some great times together. I owned it for 4 years and had an absolute blast. I started with SLP LM2 mufflers and over the years did 2 engine replacements (long story) added a stage 3 clutch, then switched to a stage 1 after I learned a little about what I was doing. Added a lightweight flywheel, short throw shifter, mach 1 chin spoiler, smoked headlights, New American Muscle Bullitt style wheels (after I had a run in with a massive pothole in downtown DC, pun intended) Ford Racing lowering springs... Alright I think I named everything.
I traded it in (against my will but I had no place to put it :/ ) for my 2014 Race Red Track pack GT, which I immediately had Katzkin leather installed and effectively stopped going to car shows, modifying cars, etc. Until about a week ago when I attended Mustang Week. I started with new exhaust, as the car was way to quiet for my tastes. I stuck with the SLP axle back and love it. Hopefully after my next deployment I can get my springs and keep going from there.
So about me. I'm from Texas
, went to high school in Virginia, and am currently stationed in Wilmington, North Carolina. I take ALOT of pictures, mostly cars, and enjoy the heck out of it. Been into photography for almost 8 years. I also build and mess around with computers (which has resulted in my current debt unfortunately. Should have just stuck with cars!).
Soooo. Yeah, I'm not sure what else to say about myself. Thanks for having me!
