Hi my names Armando , I recently turned 19. I currently live in van nuys CA. I work at a ford dealership during the day and go to college at night time. I've been on this forum looking around for a while and decided to do an introduction
Toward the end of highschool I decided I wanted a mustang gt as my first car. I worked the weekends with my father and started saving up money. Right out of high school I got hired at Ford. I continued to save up for a couple months and During work one day I saw a mustang in the used car lot and I knew that was the one. I gave 35% of the cars value as a down payment and 8 months ago I was able to acquire my first car a 6 speed sterling grey 2013 Mustang
Gt with leather interior, shaker 500 stereo, and the premium gauge display with just 10 thousand miles. What's funny was I couldn't even drive it home as I didn't know how to drive stick shift. I had to have my dad drive it home. I quickly learned and was out driving it in the streets 2 days later. After a couple months of driving, it feels natural now and is super fun to drive.
The mod bug bit quickly and I first started by tinting the windows all around, then came time to change the way it sounded. I started off with some 2012 Shelby gt500
mufflers and then deleted the resonators. I then decided I wanted quad tips so I got some 2013 Shelby gt500
mufflers and the rear valence. I wasn't so satisfied with the way it sounded so I quickly changed them out for the magnaflow catback racing version and I'm in love with how this one sounds.
Then I installed a bbk 85 mm throttle body and ford racing lowering springs that dropped my car 1.5 in all around and I'm in love with how the car looks now
I currently have a boss intake manifold directly plumbed underneath with nitrous
, sitting on my shelf awaiting installation, just saving up a little more for a tune,a cold air intake and reading up a bit more on how nitrous works.
My goals for this car is to be pushing out around 700 rwhp ,full suspension, forged internals, a nice set of rims with sticky tires and a bunch of other mods to support the 700 rwhp
Well I look forward to getting to know a lot of you guys and learn a lot of new stuff
Thanks for looking
