Just got back in a mustang!

I used to be on here quite a bit a few years ago when I had my 2005 GT and a little but more when I had my 2001 GT but had to sell both of them because of my wife hating the cars.

Well in the last year ive gotten divorced, basically had my life turned upside down and moved.

Well now that things have settled down and just now realizing I could actually do whatever I wanted without being talked down to / made to feel horrible (anyone who has ever had an emotionally abusive ex will know how hard this habit is to break) I decided to pick me up a new Mustang GT.

I drove 400 miles to get this beast last weekend and ive been LOVING it every second. it has every single option possible except for Remote start and the performance package.

And now that ive got pretty much unlimited time and quite a bit more money I have some big plans for this car!

My first step is to try and find a local mustang group/club so I have some other cool mustang owners to hang out with!

Congratulations on the new car, and the divorce! Very good looking car. Maybe you'll find a nice young lady who is also a Mustang enthusiast!

Beautiful Mustang you've got there........and I tell people (I am 63 years old) that our Mustang GT convertible is because I enjoyed my first childhood so much, I want to enjoy the second one even more!

I turned 60 last year and my husband bought me a Mustang GT/CS Convertible. He let me find one anywhere in the country ( I wanted the 2014 as the 2015 changes didn't really do it for me) He knew I loved Mustang Convertibles. (I had been on a sister vacation in Florida and rented a V6 Premium and couldn't stop talking about how cool it was) Was lucky to find it 1/2 hour from home. He fell in love with driving it and we ended up trading our other car in on another 2014 GT/CS only a coupe instead of Convertible. So now we have twins - same color same interior (his has the navigation and mine doesn't - he also has the panoramic roof so almost a convertible. LOL) - Unfortunately, it was in Atlanta GA - so we had a long road trip to go get it. Found it online at a Mercedes Benz Dealer - guy put 4000 miles on it and traded it for a 2 seater Mercedes Convertible (100,000 buck type) So June 1 found fine - 5 months later found the other one. We are blessed. I told my husband when I retire (he is already retired) we will move south where we can drive them all year. We want to enjoy our "2nd childhood even more than our first" And we are first time Mustang owners! Now with winter - we will drive his only if the streets are dry and no salt (after a rain) Otherwise they are both in the garage and our beater 2001 Chevy S10 4x4 gets us around.

Awesome man, time to break out. Life's too short to put up with the unnecessary bull sh*t. Nice color GT, too. (I have almost the same car).
