Hi, I've owned many Ford's over the years and ended up with my second mustang last week,
A 1996 mustang
coupe with stock 3.8 v6
I got after trading my 2004 explorer that had jumped timing for it
The guy claimed it had a burnt valve but I ran some seafoam thru it and cleaned the air filter and the engine doesn't skip in the slightest. No knocks or pings, decent throttle response, no smoke since using the seafoam, it holds all oil and water, so I'm thinking of concentrating on the body mainly for now.
.The poor car is in bad need of New paint but that's not an issue really.
Ill post pics of my New baby later when I get back from town buying the plugs and oil to work on it.
