Well it's looking like we got a hold of a bad 4r70w. Pulled the pan and found a lot of thick sludge and metal shavings. So....... looks like I'm pulling trans Tuesday and customer sending it out. Going to throw a 3200-3500 stall at her also

On a sidenote I did get the 3 inch body lift done today on the truck I did the 6 inch lift right b4 Christmas. Added 1.5" spacers all around and painted frame. Still have bumpers to relocate. And rear main seal and axle seals to do

Awww. That sucks!

It looks like that original spare tire would just about fit inside of the rear wheel.

It's been a headache, but it's been more than fun along the way also. Just wish I had more time work 70 hours a week at my acyual job, vs only having Sundays for it. I took off from work yesterday to knock alot of it out, planned on tuning it yesterday but.............

I don't have to sell it, so it's that or it won't go lol. One way or another I'm sure it will sell. It's unbelievably clean.

I assume that the braided steel hose hanging in that picture is the transmission dipstick?
Pretty fancy!

So what's next? Get it tuned and then start working on the Chevy?

Yes that is the dipstick, it looks pretty sharp. I do all my own tuning but yes, tune and new brake lines to the front.
I have this one, a c6, and silverado 1500 to finish up and the apache, all waiting to get done right now.

They will all have to wait till the wife and I get back from vacation though. We leave on the 10th.

I got way to good of a deal on this 98 cobra motor to pass up.

Ah, so what evil witchcraft are you going to do to that 4V? I’d assume a C head conversion would be on the list?

For now just drop it in with a intake and throttle body, and play with that while I sell the on3 kit for 2v

Sounds good. Later on some from of power adder is planned? Assuming nitrous.
I have my 4V down at the machine shop for repairs and hopefully it’ll be done next week.
