New Mustang Owner in Mississippi

Hopefully I will become the new owner of a Mustang later today/tonite.
All the paperwork and money has been exchanged and now it is just up to going to pick up the car. What I bought (no pics yet) -

2003 Ford Mustang GT Convertible
31,000 miles
Cobra Wheels
Borla dual exhaust
Torch Red exterior
Tan Leather interior

Just thought that I would say "Hey!" and I look forward to looking around.

Thanks!

Re: New Mustang Owner in Mississippi

Hey there, I'm right up the road in Southaven. You should come out to the Sonic at Getwell and Goodman on a Sunday afternoon around 5 or 5:30. If ya stick around I'll get your number and let you know all the good happenings around.

SVTOA of memphis is hosting a huge car show next month up in Memphis, you should try and make it up to that, I'll try and get the info posted up as soon as I have time.

And welcome to the mustang world, you'll love it.

Re: New Mustang Owner in Mississippi

Thanks for the welcomes!

We were able to bring the car home last night and I was able to snap a copule of pics this morning before my wife drove it to work. Here are some pics, I will continue to surf around the site to see if there is another area that would be more appropriate to post these pics (and pics of the other 3 Fords in my "stable")!!

Re: New Mustang Owner in Mississippi

nice, watch those rims, they are a bit to wide for the tires and you dont want to curb them

As a complete noob to the Mustang world, might you be able to elaborate on what you mean? Are you implying that there is a possibility of tire issues even if it is not "curbed"?

I also have the original wheels, we are not sure if we like these Cobra wheels, the originals or some other kind.

Thanks!

Re: New Mustang Owner in Mississippi

What he means is that it appears your tire isn't wide enough for the rim so the rim sticks out farther than it should which makes it easier to curb.

Dangit, you are making me look bad. I was trying to make a little joke and now I'm gonna get in trouble lol. And I'd be more than happy to let her drive my car but she's never wanted to.

Well, technically speaking it is her car...I'll stick with the F150 and Bronco.

Nothing wrong with that either. Mine DD's a 04 GT so it's all good. Trying to figure out how to get her in the 90 for DD purposes. Almost there.
