Re: Newbie from iraq..

yeah, pearl is expesive like 150 a qt. expensive if you get a dealership pearl... but you can paint a whole car in like a qt or 2 depending on how many coats and how large... a mustang could go either way just depends on how wet you want it to look

Re: Newbie from iraq..

im probably not gonna be doing much more mods to the stang... wife says we need a truck... when i get back from afghan. i love the stang but its not worth all the money to put in to it. if i had my way it would end up costing me over 29k all said and done with when if i had to sell it it would only be worth 10 to the right buyer. so probably just gonna make it look pretty enough to sell down the road.

Re: Newbie from iraq..

the high gloss white... probably 75/qt one reason auto paint is expensive is because it does put up with alot of abuse... be it sunlight or road debris so it is a bit more expensive but it's worth it all... the electric blue for the BMW M3 is 600/qt just to give you an idea on paint and how pricey it is... if I were you, i'd just get 2 qts... that'd be good for about 3 coats maybe 4

each time i put on a coat i thin it out more and more... that's what gives you that wet look when it's dry.. i could probably get more than 4 actually with 2 qts. i have a buddy that if you want could have your rims powercoated black and then clear coat them if you wanna keep the rims you have

Re: Newbie from iraq..

ky is 35% front 25% back and rear but 20% is fine. Mine has a ky legal sticker and i have 15%. so far haven't had any problems. Before I had a little kia with 10% on it and never got any hassle from it....

Re: Newbie from iraq..

I'm more worried about speeding than I am about tint tickets haha
