Well cared for Hondas I've seen 150k+.
Generally 15-20k my 900 has over 20k my 600 had 40k and ran strong 0 issues. Wouldn't have a Kaw with more then 10k. Just my opinion

Kaw's are fast but are not reliable. My pop owned a factory Kaw dealer in No.Va for years, and my uncle has drags two Kaws and two Busa's. After Honda only other I'd consider is a Yamaha, it'd have to be a good deal though. When shopping for bikes you need to know exactly what you want and what you want to pay.

Those an the new ZX10 are great bike by all accounts, I want to read up on the new Duc too, the Ducati desmodechi(street version only 1500 world wide) a true Moto GP replica is awesome too! The Desmo is probably the only bike I'd stray from Honda for, but at $75,000 don't think I'll have to worry about that lol its 200hp and with a few ez tweaks it's up to 240hp just like the real Moto ****ing GP deal!!!

It's an expensive bike, it's also geared towards AMA Super Bike racing so I guarantee it's not comfy at all.

Do you have any exp on a dirt bike OT four wheeler? An early 600cc bike is good for learning if you do, because you will drop it.

Hardly any experience. All I know is how to shift and stuff with hardly any practice. Would a 600 still be good?

I had ridden when I was young.. Then about 3 years ago I spent about 5 hours on a YZ 125(that I crashed first time ridding), drove 50 miles bought a 30k mile CBR600 for $1500 and rode it home. Point is buy something older(carbed bike have less power, cost less, cost less to work on) so yea an older 600 would be fine IMO

Thanks for the help. I'll look Into 600's.
I read the earlier stuff and it said that Honda is the best brand. True?

Honda is the best brand period IMO.. They are the most reliable, comfortable and user friendly. A few things anyone buying a used bike should be prepared for.. There are a few costs that are to be expected when purchasing a used street bike of any age.. Chain&sprockets, brakes and tires are common things that will most likely need to be replaced. The good thing about Hondas is that they use the same parts on many different models, and even cross with other brands.

Good luck with the hunt! Take a friend with you that will tell you if what your looking at is a POS, not a GF/wife as they tend to tell you whatever so they can leave lol
