99 Cobra

just testing the waters. I don't need to sell but why not try¿ never hurts to do so. Black leather guts.
BBK cai, xpipe(unknown), long tubes(unknown), muffler delete, 4:10's(unknown), 9x17's all around(95 Cobra reps), around 65k miles (post a pic when I get home), oil changed every 3k since I got her. Asking 15k, like I said testing waters. As always numbers talk =]„

Looks good, also you will need to hold a piece of paper with your username and date on it with the car in the background, helps preventing spam

I was going to say $15k is way too much money for it. I'd go as far as to say you're going to wind up selling it in the $9k range or keeping it. Sad but these cars and the Machs are not worth very much, main reason is most ppl wanting a 4V want the Termi.

GLWS, it looks like a really nice car and if its a NM car its probably rust free.

You'd have to get the service records from Ford IIRC. It consisted of a new intake manifold, catback and a tune. Heads won't matter.

You know what never mind 8500 low for that car. Kbb does say almost 16000 for that so you might have a good chance to sell for 15000. Sorry for the low ball offer just didn't expect that it would be worth tht much

Lol $16000 no way sorry, not even $15000. These cars might book for that but look at the edmunds real world value which is way more accurate. If you are going to drop $16k you're going to be looking a little higher at a Terminator or a S197.

Sad thing is, around here, with those miles, he can almost expect to sell that car for 14-16k. Most 99's and 01's are inflated so frickin much. Hell, there are 100k mile cars selling at the 10-12k price range. All about location location location. If they were not so damn expensive, I would've had one by now.

Good luck with sale OP, nice lookin' car.

Where the hell do you live where they are going for that much money? Honestly at those prices I'd probably drive a few states over and get one for much less. I mean if ppl will pay that much I would say the OP should definitely get the money but $12k for a 100k+ car is just way too damn much money. Get a low mileage 2V for under $10k and go that route IMO.

City of chicago, man. Where 1 hour of work, buys you 2 drinks at a bar.

I got a lower mileage 2v with 65k on it for a steal in this area. Kid wanted 10k for it, took it off his hands for 8. I know it seems way over priced, but like i said. 125k mile GT are going for like 6 or 7 grand. You should see the price of a termi around here.

Lol maybe drive up to wisconsin or south a few hours and look there? Dunno. Actually $8k is not too bad for a 65k mile PI 2V. Maybe a tad high but way better than paying $12k for a 4V with 100k+ on it. I paid 6k for my blue 98 with the PI swap, suspension, every bolt on etc...

Keyword. Value. A Cobra, unlike a regular GT, has VALUE that can not be gauged by any price estimator. His car, if clean, can be sold for 12k-13k reasonably easy. People looking to buy a 99 Cobra are going out o ftheir way to do so. Those who want a new edge will stay away due to price and he will have a very specific market most likley.

A 99/01 Cobra does not have much value dude. The 03/04 yes, 99/01 and the Machs/Bullitts... no. Ppl who held onto the 94/95 Cobras and even the 96-98 cars are finding this out now. You will have a hard time getting $10k for a 30k mile 95 Cobra in mint condition, never driven in the rain etc... And don't tell me those aren't like the 99/01 cars, I had one, they can get the **** out of their own way with very few modifications.
