1998 mustang GT (V8 manual 154,xxx miles)

hello all,
Some of you may hate my car but I can't tell you how many times I get stopped and complimented on how much people like my car or how many people stare at it.
I finally have my car for sale and would like to know if any of you would be interested in buying it.
send me any questions you need answered to make me a solid offer and I will do my best to answer any and all of them.

http://www.mustangevolution.com/foru...3901452351.jpg

send me an email at andyr421@gmail.com for more information or links to images. I have tons but am not allowed to post.

non smoker, garage kept
rebuilt engine with under 60,000 miles

Performance clutch installed summer of 2013 with steeda aftermarket clutch kit (quadrant, cable)
Premium interior, Leather Shift knob, Custom interior blue and tan seating with blue accents throughout the door panels.
Aftermarket dual exhaust
Unique ground effects and hood
you wont find a similar car anywhere
catalytic converters installed summer 2012
new Radiator winter 2013
New differential fluid, AC freon refreshed late september 2013. this car has so much power and so many accessories for a 1998 GT Mustang.
the sound system has spoiled me and it pains me to hear audio through 4 tweeter speakers in other cheap cars with out a subwoofer.

comes with two amplifiers and a subwoofer

The interior of this car is beautiful and it is even more stunning from the outside. Professionally painted with hood pins for extra security, this car will rip through the streets and highways leaving all other far behind.

I have always gotten stopped by kids and older folks alike with compliments on such a "cool race car," in the words of one elementary school student.

premium Ford MACH audio system, Sub Woofer, Two Amplifiers, Interior Ambient Lighting, Custom body kit, Custom Hood Scoop, Aftermarket Alarm system, Hood Scoop Lighting, Premium Rims (cobra replicas), Performance All Season Tires, Custom Interior, Powerful Headlights, Fog Lights

Kenwood Radio with remote, After Market Alarm system, Leather Seats, CD Player, Anti-Lock Brakes, Driver Airbag, Passenger Airbag, Air Conditioning, Cruise Control, Power Locks

Engine:
4.6L 281Cu. In. V8 GAS SOHC Naturally Aspirated

Thank you. I don't normally like the all out additions but I liked this car the moment I saw it. I understand it's not 2004 anymore and fast and furious is not popular so it may be a tough sale but here's to the best.

@08mustanggt I'll get back to you if you are the highest offer.

So the engine is stock? Performance upgrades are exhaust and clutch only? Love the way it looks.

Pretty much. Only the clutch has just recently been switched out as well as an
Aftermarket cable. Nothing fancy. I haven't driven anything this fast so I can't really compare. Except maybe an 08 ss impala

That means it has a lot of potential to grow. Love the interior specifically.

1998 mustang GT (V8 manual 154,xxx miles)

Yes sir. I always thought of turbo charging it. The hood does provide the room for it...but I'd rather not get 8mpg or increase wear and strain.

Yeah my ads in grocery stores and online say 9k incase someone feels like giving me 8k but I'll take 6 lol.

Thanks polar the interior is what made my mind to get it. The seats have the mustang on it. It's unique and it's not cloth or the old cracked leather that most mustangs have.

I mean I understand. These cars are 15-20 years old but still. I'd like for my interior to be clean no matter the age. If it isn't then it just isn't an option for me.

$6k is way too much for that at least around here. That's what I paid for my 98 with 50k less miles and way more done with lots of OEM parts and you guys have all seen pics of mine.

To be totally honest this car is going to appeal to very few people and those people will be in a demographic that probably isn't even going to have $4k lying around to spend on it much less $6k but you never know. List it for sale locally and see what happens. Good luck.

Thanks man I'm hoping for 5, but I understand what you mean. It's a lot for the demographic I am targeting. I am hoping to get a fellow Mexican attracted by shiny wheels and metallic paint.

If it were up to me I would keep it but I can't afford 13mpg any longer or full insurance for my self at 200+ a month.

---------- Post added at 09:51 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:50 PM ----------

This winter I kept it in my garage so it was about 180 for the 4 months so far.

13mpg and full coverage at $200/mo on a 98??? You should be getting 20mpg and your insurance should be well under half that for liability only unless you have a bunch of points and then insurance is going to be high no matter what you buy.

IMO, you took someone to the cleaners. I just saw a bone stock GT with 16k original miles sell for $6k. But good on you getting $5k out of it, not your problem if someone gives you your asking price and you were honest about the car.

yeah scotty i saw a cobra for 6k with 90k miles and it looked amazing.

I sold it back on april 25th Adogg.

I just came back cause i saw an email from M.E.

I dont know if ill ever be a mustang owner again tbh. I like the new 2015's and am looking forward to the 4cyl turbo but a tesla is what I see in my future within the next 5-10 years (whether it be used or not I dont know yet.

it was fun while it lasted. I miss the power for sure. my civic goes from 0-60 in about 5.8 days
