Assuming that it's been in no accidents and it has a clean title, it would go between 6,000k - 8,000k in my city.

Sadly, most people wont pay extra for "appearance" mods unless they're restoration mods. So decals, a shorty antenna, and plastidip won't increase the value. What WILL, however, is the maintenance work and performance mods. Assuming she has no problems and runs like a champ, you'll get 6-8k.

yeah same around here about 6-8k would be fair...
its sad because people will look at a really clean new edge for 10k and laugh
because there are so many out there being sold for 1500-3000 ... what they don't think about is how much bodywork/paint rims/tires/ exhaust.. blah blah all cost... yeah man you can probably list for 8500 and get 6k ... Then again 8500 could scare a lot of people from even looking at even the add... maybe list 6500 and take 6k firm

I was actually thinking of selling it somewhere between 3500k-4000k, theyre not really wanted here in vegas , its mostly about hondas and integras, with 1990-1999 yrs, 200k miles, "okay" paint, $400 rims, and a bunch of problems going for the same price lol.

The v-6s around here go for 6k. I would check Craigslist and know the market for your area. Cars sell for different prices in different arrears. Also check Kelly blue or black book.com. If you find the right person that likes your style and you have recites for the work it will give your car a higher value because he knew you took care of the car. A lot of people do not like performance mods because it makes them think you pushed/ dogged the car. Younger people are the exception.

Yeah, some people don't appreciate a good car when they see one. You're also right about the price.. List too high and potential buyers will be lost.

I would say between 3-4 K with those kind of miles. If you have any stock parts I would try turning it back to stock and selling any aftermarket parts you can to recoup some of the cost as basic mods don't add anything to the value of the car. It sucks but thats just how it is.

Performance mods will not increase it's value. It may attract a buyer looking to save some mod cash sure, but the value is decreased when modded.

In Philly, with it's mileage and outside wear, 4-5k.

OP, see what the going prices are in your area for a similar car AND how many.

Same here in the Mustang mecca that is NJ. With those miles it would probably sell for more like $3k and that's if everything was in good shape. You can find good ones with around 100k or sometimes less for the $3.5-$4k range.

I'm in jersey lol.. Where are you finding some that have less than 100k and are less than 4k? The people on Craigslist are crazy around here.

Everyone thinks their car is worth double what it really is. You just have to look around. A lot of times the big forums will have cars for sale in the classifieds that are local, I got mine off the corral classifieds. A stock 96-98 is a $3k-$4k car. A higher mileage like 100-120k new edge can be had for around $4k as well if you are patient.

Basically have to wait the seller out and if someone buys it out from under you for more than its worth then they got a bad deal and you keep looking.
